A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE
"Democracy works best when citizens engage, when ideas are debated, and when communities come together around shared values. Our campaign embodied all of these principles."
TO OUR SUPPORTERS
Primary elections strengthen our democracy by ensuring voters have real choices and that the best ideas rise to the surface. I'm proud to have been part of that process.
To everyone who voted for me in the June 10th Democratic primary, volunteered their time, contributed to our campaign, and believed in our vision - thank you. Your support meant everything and demonstrated the best of what Cresskill represents.
Together, we built a campaign focused on:
These principles remain as important today as they were during our campaign.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE
I congratulate Leslie Kaplan on winning the Democratic primary and securing our party's nomination for mayor. He ran a strong campaign and earned this victory. Leading our community is both an honor and a significant responsibility, and I hope our campaign's focus on practical solutions and community engagement will contribute to productive governance.
I stand ready to support constructive efforts to address Cresskill's challenges, whether that's implementing flood protection measures, improving our schools, or finding efficiencies in municipal operations.
LOOKING FORWARD
While this election didn't go our way, my commitment to Cresskill hasn't changed. I'll continue to be involved in our community and our party, whether through volunteer work, civic engagement, or other opportunities to contribute.
The issues we raised during this campaign - from protecting our schools from flooding to maximizing the value of every tax dollar - remain important priorities for our town's future. I hope these ideas will continue influencing policy discussions regardless of the election outcome.
I encourage everyone to stay engaged in local government. Attend town council meetings, participate in community discussions, and continue to advocate for the principles that will make Cresskill the best it can be.
Thank you again for the opportunity to compete for the Democratic nomination and to share my vision for Cresskill's future. While we didn't win this primary, I'm proud of the positive, solution-focused campaign we ran together.
Now let's work together to ensure Democratic victory in November. Better spending. Better education. Better Cresskill. These goals are worth pursuing regardless of election outcomes.
